Is recasing nessesary? (pic)
    #737773 - 07/10/02 07:42 PM (20 years, 10 months ago)

Hey,
I cased some eq?s about a week ago with a 50/50 verm/peat. The mycillium is colonizing the surface with really pointy tendril like strands. I was just wondering if I should recase to prevent overlay or wait it out.? If I should recase how deep would should the recasing be?
Thanks in advance.

Well it`s your choice, if you want a more even pin set you`ll need to case your patches of mycelium to allow the areas not covered to colonise as well.
I have the same thing at the moment and I just apply a bit of casing on the colonised areas.

Recase the patches that are growing faster, just a little less then half inch. An evenly cased crop is usually a better producer. Good Luck.
