Spore Syringe Storage

This may be a dumb question, but a "friend" just ordered several spore syringes and most likely will not be able to make use of all of them right away. He was just curious how long he could store spore syringes without them going bad and how he should store them. His suspicion is that they should last indefinitely at room temperature, but he just wanted to check.
Peace

My friend stored his syringes at room temp in the dark for a year and just used them succesfully last month. They were from PF and quite resilient.
