a friend of mine has had 7 pr cakes in a desktop pod for around 2 weeks now. from the 7 cakes he has already harvested nearly 20 dry grams, but the cakes still have not produced any mushrooms from their midsections or crowns...all the fruiting has come from the bottom or the underneath side of the cakes. what should he do?

Want quantity? Dunk 'em in cold water for 12 hours, then bust'em up and spawn some dung/straw with 'em then case in coir.

thanks guys. both suggestions are ones i have considered, and don't get me wrong i am very enthused about 20g off of just 20% of each cake.
