The Dead, Shpongle, Daniel Lanois, Sigur Ros, pretty much anything laid back. No hard rock or rap while tripping for me, puts me in a negative state of mind.

at times, nothing sounds better than my own music. so much more spiritual and frightening at the same time. to understand that what is affecting me so deeply in mid trip (or mid weed trip) is something that I created directly from the heart.
maybe i am narcissistic but yeah...

EntheogenicPeace said: Right on. I actually first heard "All Along the Watchtower" the last time I tripped a week or so ago (heard it for the first time while tripping, not first time ever, of course). It was played really loud & was so fucking amazing I can't put it into words. Some other kick-ass songs for tripping...
"Time of the Season" by The Zombies
"Old Man" by Neil Young
"The Soft Parade" by The Doors
"Summertime" by Janis Joplin
"White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane
"Ocean Breathes Salty" by Modest Mouse
"Aqueous Transmission" by Incubus
"Automatic Flowers" by Our Lady Peace
"Perfect" by The Smashing Pumpkins
Those are definitely some great songs for trippin'.
For some reason I always find myself listening to Mudvayne when tripping. Probably because they specifically mention shrooms. L.D. 50 has to be my favorite but all their older shit is great IMO.
