Has anyone ever tried this??

Ight so i went shroom hunting 3 days ago and got 5 spore prints. Since i got so many i planed on trying some new stuff. I bought some Karo and made 3 LCs. Then i got to thinking shrooms love simple sugar and yet dirt does not have a lot. So i took a cup of water and Karo and water the plants indoor and outdoor (outdoor less contam). Does anyone think this well make the dirt suitable for growth? I know this might be a waste of spores but hey an experiment is worth it. Escpailly if shows that all you really need to do to make a big outdoor bed is add karo to the dirt.

So does anyone think this might work?

I think the ants will carry away the sugars/ karo before it can do anything.

Mushrooms don't fruit on karo anyway. Build an outdoor manure or straw bed.

The Karo is a simple way of growing liquid, syringe-ready mycelium. It's not a great nutrient, and the mycelium amounts grown are minuscule.
