I think my BRF cakes have cobweb mold. Confirmation?

nah mycelium looks like that mang. Id say cob but maybe it some weird myc who knows. Not me.

So are you saying it is cobweb? Or not? Or is it not cobweb and just some other contam? I'm confused.

Cobweb is almost never a contaminant mold in jars. It looks like mycelium.

Oh. Shit. I didn't see the above pic. Uh, see all that green?

The white is mycelium. It is, however, green mold mycelium. You can see parts of it already sporulating. Throw those away, outside.

I confirm that that turns into black mold. These are pics of some jars that I just chunked. I transfered the contam to agar and this is what it looked like close up.

I ended up pressure cooking at 15psi for about 30 minutes to properly dispose of the jar contents.

Sorry. I promise It turned black.
