Recent "hunt"
    #7349324 - 08/29/07 05:55 PM (16 years, 7 months ago)

Hello all. I recently went gathering outa sheer boredom and was surprized at the variety of mushrooms i found. I dont have any spore prints as my living sitution(no provacy) would make it difficult to make, but if anyones interested heres some pics, was just wondering if any look "promising". Only one type had a noticable blue bruising and it was from the larger ones. All were found in a damp, mossy, shaded area near a steam, a few days after heavy rains and when it was hot. Peace.......................just tried uploading the pics but they are all in jpeg format, why does stuff have to be so hard............sigh. Can someone at least answer me this......Are all blue bruising shrooms psycodelic? screw it ill just eat a bit anyway.

No they are not,, don't eat any mushroom until you know 100% what it is.
Some shrooms will kill you.

I never knew jpegs were not accepted,,.

If your having problems you could open an account with photobucket.
Once you've uploaded your pics there you can copy/paste the 'IMG' codes to use in forums.
You won't be restricted by how many pics you can upload at once, either.

It's probably a bolete, not psychoactive and possibly poisonous.

Don't eat ANYTHING until you've identified it 100%.

Do all psychoative shrooms have gills rather than spongeous caps?

wow... quite the haul. There may be some edibles in there, but I don't see anything active.

The bluing mushrooms are probably the Boletes, which aren't psychoactive, and possibly poisonous. They have pores instead of gills.

that big all white one is an amanita, probably Amanita virosa. Destroying Angels are certainly pretty...
