I was thinking about going to Cuba some time in the next year. I am in a few organizations which do some charity work down there from time to time. I was wondering if anyone had ever been there? What was it like? As an American citizen what bureaucracy will I have to go through?
I found this Sailing Cuba blog about a couple that went to Cuba on a sailboat and seemed to have a good time. I think they were Canadian and didn’t talk much about preparations.

I think the best way to go is to fly to mexico. Then fly to cuba. Fastest way I guess.
