Just in my total opinion but, If I were going to suggest a hallucinogen to a Buddhist, I would say something from the tryptamine class. In my experiences Cactus gives you quite a bit of energy for at least 10 hours. I could see you friend not liking that much being as they strive to be calm and collected. I don't know weather intense meditation is possible in this state.

I've got 18in of stressed dried outer green San Pedro tissue, 4in of Dried Bridgesii...think that will be enough for 2 people...Remember we want a light-medium trip...not an intense one....What do you guys think?

I have manic depressive bi-polar and pretty bad anxiety, and I did Aya, that has nothing to say for you of course. Just saying that it is possible to have a smooth trip even for an anxiety ridden head. I thought this trip was for him, not you?

Or just tell your friend to go to the library or online an use a search engine. I'm not very spiritual/religious, but why does this guy need proof that others have achieved enlightenment this way? Tell him to just fucking try it and if he likes it you can do it again. If he doesn't like it... wait a few hours and you'll never have to experience the damn shit again. He's only going to be doing a small amount anyway. Sounds more like he's just trying to copy what ancient taoists/buddists did instead of achieving some spiritual level.

As for the mental problems, my mother and sister have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder since they were both 16. I've never shown any signs of problems and I'm 21. Mental instabilities are finiky that way. But as long as your friend feels comfortable and the setting is right, you will not have any problems. Yes, psychoactives do have a history of "bringing mental problems to the surface", but I promise you that it's not like those people were fine, did drugs, then the next day they were crazy. Doesn't work that way.

i honestly think buddhists are missing out :lol:

why confine yourself to limitation?  i guarantee most so called "buddhists" out there will not attain enlightenment.  so many masters speak of this, just because you can throw a label on yourself and meditate doesn't mean your different and have more opportunity than anybody else.  pff!

utilization of the earths entheogens, i believe, helps to speed up our rate of realization and awakening.  yeah its a belief but its based on personal experience.  and im not saying you need these to realize and awaken..  /endrant

So I've got a qustion about Trichocereus dosage...I have 18in of stressed dried outer green San Pedro tissue and 4in of dried stressed T. bridgesii tissue...Would that be a good light-medium dose for 2 people?

well if not lsd id say ayahuasca then.

thats the most special for me next to lsd.

if you get some blotters, assuming they are average size, eat half. if you trip it is definately lsd as no RC would be potent enough to have an effect on half a blotter.

unfortunately not.

my san pedro is only about two feet tall, beautiful, but a few years before i can get anything from her.

my friend has tried it though, all he said is it was a very powerful teacher.
