Cube Question

I have two diff batches of what i believe to be cubes...but my question is the cube on the left seems to have its gills very close together more than the other fields (on the right)...i have included a picture of the gills and the cap top.....Im pretty new to shrooming but i was wondering why the gills on the shroom on the left seem so close together that they look like a sponge or feathery...Any ideas?

I'm not sure I understand your question, but those caps are pretty nappy. I wouldn't eat them if you paid me.

them shrooms looks like the got beat up and sat fresh before they where dried.

They look to be cubenis tho, just poorly dried/taken care of.
