23 gallon casing trich
    #7335632 - 08/26/07 09:01 AM (16 years, 6 months ago)

I had a 23 gallon storage tub with about 5 in. (30lb.)of hpoo/straw. It was nearly fully colonized when it started turning green. What a waste of time and sub.

My question is, it is about 90% myc. and 10% trich. If I dig a hole in the yard to drop this massive chunk in, Should I leave the top exposed with clear plastic laying over it and try to fruit it now.

Or would it stand a better chance if I buried it completely, so the trich. wouldn't be exposed to light?

Thanks in advance. What you thing Rabbit?

Bury it in the ground with about 1/2" of soil over it. Cover that with some straw or mulch. Trichoderma is not a contaminant outdoors.

OK will do. It's green so am assuming its trich.
