INTRO. of casing to TERRARIUM

HI, EVERYONE just wanted to let you know that I ended my one week waiting period prior to placing my casing containers into my sterilite terrarium. I got a VICKS COOLMISt and poked 2 holes in the side and inserted 2 garden hose pieces(ea. 4 feet long) then, sealed the openings with waterproof sealant. I did the same to my terrarium. Anyways, so far my humidity is at 95 and my temps are at 71-76 degrees. I just did this today so I will fan it 3 times tomorrow. Now, Ive read alot of forums that say h2o sprayed on the casing is good when its dry, AND ive also seen many posts that say NOT to spray the casing because the h20 will damage the new mycellium network!! Well, which is true? or false. I'd LOVE to know so I'll know what to do since this is my 1st time.

Just to point out, I think your humidity is actually too high for casings.

If you have a cool mist that goes on several times a day, there is no need to fan ain addition.
