If it is a "smaller" more relaxing trip I always meditate afterwards and then just sort of sit quitely with some soothing music on and think.
When it is a larger trip and I feel as though my brain is going to spill over with information and ideas than I give my mind a break. I never ever watch TV but after intense trips I like to watch something completely devoid of though (so much os that it is humours), Springer and "Street Smarts" have been particularly good for this. Then after I wind down I meditate and do the same as above.
And no matter what the trip is like, I always write certain thoughts down!
I find all this helps a lot with the emotional and mental comedown. After my notorious bad trip (you can find that mamouth adventure under Level 4 with the title of "Read the 1st 6 lines") I did none of this and spent the next 6 months having the bad experience slowly leak out, torturing me. If I had just done this, most likely I would have avoided a lot of pain.
Anyways what do you do?
