Not a bad idea. Basically that stuff is just like Lysol.

It's good to sterlize a room or a work area, but don't use it to sterlize your jars:-) That stuff is too stong and will kill mold AND fungus:-)

Call me paranoid but...i sprayed this stuff once a day for two weeks before i inoculated just to be sterile. I sprayed everything down. EVERYTHING. No contamination in all jars innoculated and still none after 3 weeks...slow colonizing due to cold environment.

be carefull with that shit:
it is toxic (at least slightly.. not something you want to get in your food)
it leaves a residue whereever you spray it
um.. thats it

crushed oyster shell can ge gotten at most health food stores. It comes in a capsule form of 800 mg from Twinlabs

Crushed Oyster Shell is also found in large "Home Depot" type stores in the inside garden section, near the soil additives and pesticides.
