O.K... just a few pictures that were on my digital. I still have film to develop as well...so...this is an annual party on the beach and this years total was $3000.00 for fireworks....of which here is a small portion:
This is the man responsible....meet Jim G. He happens to be a person like no other you will EVER meet. It also happens that this man, when not moonlighting as the family pyrotechnics "extraordinaire", is quite famous for helping raise a certain Civil War relic from the ocean floor???? hhmmm Every year Jim makes it his job to outdo the previous years show...AND HE SUCCEEDS!!!He not only built the structure at a minus tide a few days before the 4th, but also was able to get the neighbor with a class B explosives license to purchase and participate in the grand FINALE!! It was beyond words this year.. I have no idea how he?ll top this next year..but you can bet I?ll be there with a camera!!!
This is the day after and all the neighbor kids from up and down the beach got together and made a big thank you poster for the show and came up and gave it to Jim, J&T(the folks who?s home is ground zero every year). In the last few years this event has gained quite a following and now it?s a community event. As of next year Jim will have help with the costs of the fireworks since the neighborhood has decided to start a fund for him to use!!! Nice since he has been doing this out of his own pocket for about the last 8 years!!!!Everyone pitches in some, but this will allow for his "connections" to really be put to use in the coming years!!!
Here is a view of the party before the PARTYwhile we snuck off for a quick toke
AND... I get a view similar every night..but somehow this place is different..here?s why I love it there.A view with my friend Tracy capturing the beauty as well.
O.K.. maybe more tomorrow...I hope you all enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoy sharing them. And I hope you all had a great 4th of July celebration!!!!

Those are interesting pictures. The last two are pretty. Is that a firework going off (in the second to last one)?

Not a bad way to spend $3,000
Is someone playing Grand Theft Auto 3 in the first two pics?
