Coconut Bark - Does it Work?

I went to a petshop and bought "Coconut Bark" its the only substrate of coco that i have found in my shitty town, besides i dont know how to translate Coir to spanish, anyway, i put a picture of what i bought, do u think this can work?????

coir is the hairy fibers of the shell. what you have is the shell ground up into little chunks. And no, I don't think it will provide a substantially nutritious substrate for mushroom cultivation.

Yes, I think it will work. As far as I know is Coco Nut always Coco Nut. Isn't it? It comes in different forms an shapes though.

well, tomorrow i will go to the petshop and i will ask them if they have eco earth, then i will make my mix with vermiculite for my casing. this is the one im hoping to get

The picture in RadelBaluvar's post is a brick of coconut coir... that's the stuff you're looking for. Eco Earth is the kind I use.
