i'd imagine it's good bonding with your pet.
when you're tripping and you think the animal spends it's time following you every where, perhaps it's just that you notice it more or pay more attention to their actions?

(I'm not saying that they CAN'T tell, I'm just making a sugestion)

Our family dog follows me ABSOLUTELY FUCKIN EVERYWHERE mainly because I'm the only person in the family who actually talks to the dog ("how ya goin, buddy?", "whats the matter?", "do you wanna go outside?", "do you wanna come inside?" "do you wanna go for a walk?" etc etc) and gives the dog a lot of respect and care i basically treat the animals as I would a human... just because theyre not human doesnt mean they should be treated any less.

anyway, i'm going off track... but I've never tripped with an animal but I'd really like to see what it's like!

yeah my cats act like they know somethings up when Im tripping.... but then again Im on drugs when I notice it...... and then again Im on drugs when I notice most things
