okay so i got this cobweb mold

im not familiar with the outdoor tech
and its too hot and dry outside
so im gonna cut off the cobweb infection, which is small
and im gonna isolate this 100% colonized MDK
in a hobo terrarium.
how does this sound? like the right thing to do?

the first one is doomed, he looks 100% colonized with cobweb mold
the second one is about 100% colonized and has a bit of cobweb mold

so i was thinking of puting the cake in a shallow hole, then filling it up with cheap ass poting soil, and watering it once a day.
how do i keep the moisture in? maybe a piece of wood over the hole?
please any advice

Thats doesnt look like cobweb... hmm...

Yeah, put it under a shade tree outside with some moisture holding soil over the top of it (peat or verm or both), though, for what little nutrients are there, it probably isn't worth your time.

I don't think you have cobweb mold- it looks to me like your jars are too wet.

yeah it is mold, it isnt white its gray and really fine,
mycelium is white and fluffy

IF it is cobweb, shouldn't you be able to kill it with dilute peroxide?

Edit- or just go bury it outside like you said...
