I did a little folgers can experiment with mexicubs and BRF crumbled in to some Kowanite,,, Hows it lookin??? Should It be exposed to light to initiate pinning? or?:confused:

it's fine, however if that brown is your substrate and not your casing layer it needs to colonize more before you introduce it to the pinning triggers.

i sometimes use similar tubs to those->



have some at the same stage as you right now.
i would give them another day or so,until the top is fully colonized,and then case.
a mixture of verm+potting soil with a little coir and gypsum works ok.
are you not going to case?
