I did a little folgers can experiment with mexicubs and BRF crumbled in to some Kowanite,,, Hows it lookin??? Should It be exposed to light to initiate pinning? or?

it's fine, however if that brown is your substrate and not your casing layer it needs to colonize more before you introduce it to the pinning triggers.

i sometimes use similar tubs to those->
have some at the same stage as you right now.
i would give them another day or so,until the top is fully colonized,and then case.
a mixture of verm+potting soil with a little coir and gypsum works ok.
are you not going to case?
