I've come across some dehydrated cubes and was wondering the best way to store them...i can't stick them in a freezer so thats outta the question...should i leave them in a closed ziploc or leave it open? and does the amount of light matter? Thanks in advance....

I think you might want to store it in an airtight container out of the sunlight. You're talking about acid in cube form I take it?

I think cubes meant cubensis mushrooms, make sure they are cracker dry before storing, an airtight container or bag inside an airtight jar with dessicant would probably work best.

dont store mushrooms unless 100% dry.
