Just because its mostly colonized its overlay?
    #729779 - 07/07/02 04:58 PM (21 years, 7 months ago)

most of the surface area on a casing is colonized. it looks like veiny networks of mycelia all over with white puffs. The color fluxuates of white and grey. Does this automatically constitue overlay, or should I wait it out?

Thanks for any input

You'll see hyphal knots in a few days, pins in a week or so. Just wait it out, have some patience, thats the key to success.

my friend is going through almost the same situation.....on each of his two trays only have of the tray came to fruit...on one half of one tray the myceluim is pretty much growing tthough the casing layer...also on mushy looks very very odd...it looks like a long strip type tube of white fuzz then the mush growing out the end of it.

what should my friend do about his casing?? please any advice would be needed, i was told to be patience but now the myco is taking over half the casing???
