I think maybe you could send out letters for free if you write the return address to the person your sending and then put no stamps on it? think it might work

its an oooooold trick,
and it only works if the person is in the same state as you.

you'd have to put the letter in a public mail box thing like in front of the post office or somthing, but yeah it would work.

Tried this over and over years back, but they only worked if the address was in a nearby city :\

I used to have a credit card that put the CC company name and address on the return address part of the envelope. I mailed a payment once without a stamp and it worked. I'm in Ohio and the credit card company was in Delaware, btw.

I wouldn't do this for any mail that was important enough to bother sending in the first place.
For one thing, the post office will give the lowest possible priority to returning it. It might take months to finally make its way to the return address. And it might never get returned at all.
