My car got flooded!

Fuck fuck fuck.
Remember reading on the new how the New York area had some insane flooding last week and a tornado in Brooklyn?
Well my car was parked in a parking deck, underground. I only ever use my car if I'm going to the grocery store or to Philly... I haven't done either since last Wednesday when the storm hit. I get in my car today to go buy some beer and my car apparently was flooded to the point that the floor boards were still completely soaked a week later. Now the car smells like asshole and I used 2 rolls of paper towels trying to dry up the water, and it's still soaking.
WTF am I going to do? I put my car on the top of a parking deck where it will get full sun, but the town I'm in isn't safe enough to open the windows all the way. I've got the windows cracked but I doubt that will dry it.
I'm guessing I'll either have to take it to a car detail place and have them shampoo the shit out of the carpet or I'll have to have it all ripped out and replaces.
Anyone else have any ideas/similar experience?

start by vacuuming it at a carwash if they have them up there... then consider replacing the car

I'd love to replace the car. Wanna give me a few grand?
It still runs fine, for what it's worth.

if the car is from down here you should be able to get a decent chunk for it there "rust free", assuming it is anyway. I know people that do it for a living, buy here, sell there.

I had a convertable this happened to once,I left the top down on a clear night in texas,it was summer,if you can let the sun bake it with the windows down for a couple of days this will help, also vacuum the shit out of it at a car wash as suggested.Spray lysol and or febreeze after you vacuum it.It will take a month or 2 to get the most of the smell out of it,about 6 months to not notice.

Shit, if I wanted it stolen all I'd have to do is park it in the projects. That'd be easy. Perhaps I'll suggest insurance fraud to my dad. lol.
