goo on brf-cakes
    #7284518 - 08/11/07 12:47 PM (16 years, 8 months ago)

can't describe it any other way: it's the colour of a see-through gummy bear. 1cm long, just sits there. no it's not a snail and i don't think it is an unpicked and rotting pin too. its freaky. anyone know what that is?

Are the cakes still in their jars or in the grow area? This sounds like just some residue from moisture + gooey rice... but I could be wrong. I'd say if they're still in the jars just keep your eyes on it until it's time to remove them. Then try to brush it off with something sterile when you transfer them to the grow area. If they are already in the grow area... brush it off or leave it. Just make sure you keep your eyes on it for any changes. Kinda like a tumor, lol.

Apparently they're supposed to make your pee smell funny... The first time I did shrooms someone was doing research and one effect was supposedly "urine that smells like burnt rubber."
It was funny because later while we were tripping he was like, "I'm going to burn some rubber." when he went to the bathroom.
Anyone know this to be true?

 Stamets calls it 'sweat'. Either name is a good description of liquid metabolic waste excreted by an organism.
