Ants? How the %&@*#$! did you get ants? I think you need to read some sterilization teks. You should be keeping your jars somewhere clean and contained. Try buying some ant traps!

ants???? in your jar???? *lot of laugh*!!! where are you living??? i'm in quebec and it's around -25 celsius outside so it will never happen to me!!! but being you, i'll keep my jar just to see what happen next...

I know I've had ants invade a casing. Those little fuckers will get anywhere that is not completely sealed, including ventilation holes, etc etc. I have had them try to build a nest in a casing also, even bring in some eggs.
Ant traps are hardly going to stop something of this nature.

Sterilize the ants and use them as a substrate for your next batch!
