poppy id?

I don't know it it is possible to identify a poppy strain just by looking at the flower.
but, i saw some poppies that looked exactly like this a few weeks ago.
They came from McCormick seed.
The petals, coloration, stems, hairs, and unopened pod, looked exactly the same as these.
This image is just like if i were to have taken a picture, same size and everything.
very pretty, there were only a couple though. The sweet peas took over the area, also very pretty.

a very common way to tell is the foliage similar to wild mustard or a rippled form of the collards family, followed by the crowd of the pod being white or yellow, not brown.

generally the flowers are usually a combination of white or red, minus the fact that the oriental poppy, papaver rhoeas exists and is blood red, anyway foliage is different.

McCormick seed means you probably have what is called "commercial" seed, and its usually blood red or that angelic white.

happy scores.
