Anybody familiar with the workings of Stan Grof?

I just became aware of who he is and what his philosophies are. Anybody else familiar or have experiences to share?

I've read his book "Realms of the human unconscious". He seems like a pretty great guy to me, but I don't know too much. He prefers Richard Alpert to Timothy Leary...

I'm ordering a couple of his books. The guy seems to be highly accredited and respected, and it's cool to see someone with his credentials ascribing to non-local realities and multi-dimensional planes of consciousness. He's someone I would enjoy learning from.

A wise man...;)

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

He is one of the best. Check out:
The Adventure of Self Discovery
The Cosmic Game
Both are very powerful books.
