sterilizing agar W/O a pc

I'm looking to do some agar experiments but don't have a PC,I will do some "live tissue" using peroxide tek but want to do some spore experiments as well and can't use peroxide. Someone told me there may be a microwave agar sterilization tek. Has anyone seen this or tried it or any other tek that might work?
