It may look like a button mushroom right now, but wait until you see how it grows!

How long does it bloom? That is an awesome cactus.

Where abouts are you? Do you live in the desert? In the South? I have several Pedros and Torches that I would like to see flower like that, but I don't know if they will here in the Northeast.
Do you get lots of bee and butterfly traffic to that flower?

Pedros and Peruvians hardly ever flower, and I think they have to be about 10 feet tall to flower (or so I've heard). I was thinking of getting some seeds for this cactus, purely for the flowers.

Do you leave that guy outside all year long? Do you think Trich. panchoi would survive the winters here?

According to the guy at the nursery, pedros wont flower if they live indoors. Basically they need very regular hours of sun, seasons, rain, nutrients...etc. all the stuff that is outdoors. If you manage to do otherwise then PM me. I would love to see my beauty flower.
