whats wrong with ground white rice?

lo, i went down to my local supermarket today looking for some brown rice....i got there and they only had 3 diffrent brands of rice.....none of them said 'brown rice' on them and none of them were distinctly brown......i picked one brand which the rice was more brown than the other, sorta the colour of dirty water...will this work?

in my cupboard at home i also have bran/oates/wheatgerm.....will any of these work as well if grind down ?

(this is for the br/verm cake method btw)

Brown rice isn?t really brown. It?s more greyish-yellow.

So I guess you picked the right thing.

If you have a Giant Eagle(supermarket) by you, go to their organic foods section. That's where I got my brown rice flour. If the supermarket by you is some-what new they might have an organic foods section...
