Alright,I need anything good that will be helpful for me guys.

I need to quiet my mind,I've been trying to get back into meditation which will help but I want to also eat right on top of that.

Slave to what? bad food? Why don't you go through what you tend to eat during the week?

Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake.

Eat light.

Large meals make my mind and body sluggish.

Making my dinners smaller has changed all kinds of things in my life. Seriously.

flax seed oil
multivitamins
spirulina
grass supplements
lots of nuts and raw veggies
smaller portions of meat, dairy, eggs, wheat
plenty of water
for protein and carbs: quality, not quantity

and don't forget to savor every bite

I will not fear my passions like a coward.
My body I will give to pleasures,
to diversions that I’ve dreamed of,
to the most daring erotic desires,
to the lustful impulses of my blood, without
any fear at all, for whenever I will—
and I will have the will, strengthened
as I’ll be with contemplation and study—
at the crucial moments I’ll recover
my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

Ah yes, how could I forget water? I hit the 3pm wall when I don't drink enough water.

you basically want to build a menu that is very earthly, simple, fresh, and nutrient dense. :earth:

this does not need to be a sudden change in habit, but you can make it a gradual transition also.

start with mealtime awareness, and listen carefully to what your body is telling you. it always whispers, it never shouts.

the body is an intelligence in itself.

it will help you understand what it is you need to eat in order to create harmony within yourself.

the next step is choice. refer to this thread's advice and actually go out and obtain these foods and have them available at your home.

the disciplined mind creates reality intently and with focus.

you will see that after a good while new habits will begin to form and replace the older programs you used to operate on.

good luck bro!

:afro:

oh and i almost forgot.

drink only water man, lots of it, aim for a gallon on average.

it helps to calm the internal fire.

Alles verboten!

:hitler:

heh, but no really, water is hands down the optimal source of hydration.

juices, beers, and wines all have their nutritional benefits,

but my personal philosophy is, if your cells are thirsty, give them that out of which they are born.

pure, water.
