Wow, Oleander! I had that very same dream! Only in mine, I asked The Ones That Stain Blue for their strain T-203, and they said it was Texas born and bred.
I forget the ending :smile:

Cubensis from USDA zone 8 and 9, in Texas will fruit in July in 95.F. Water being the key to fruiting,not the temperature!

In Oklahoma USDA zone 7a 7b and 6, fruits ONLY IN THE FALL.

I have a print of a regular cubinsis collected near Dallas. The field it was collected from is fairly well known by the locals, and after a good rain is home to more shrooms than one person could carry out.

Two main strains live there, a Gulf Coast and this other cubinsis, which looks much like a PF, only with a lighter colored cap that is lighter near the edges. The GC strain is very strong, particularly if you can find some when it has been about a week since it rained. One medium sized one gives a medium level trip (and they leave blue stains on the counter if you cut them up).

Anyway, I'm going to try to grow this print, if I'm successful I'll be happy to send some prints of it to anyone who wants it (for the cost of shipping plus a few bux for the work).

I have no idea how easy it will be to grow, but it seems to be about middle of the road on potency.
