so is this wheat straw??

some one told me that they use the bales of straw that are on the side of the road there golden in color and they use them all around here when theres road work. is this wheat straw??????????please help.

It could be any kind of straw (who knows without seeing it). Try it, or buy a bale of WS at a feed store for $5 or 6 bucks -- if any are in your area. SixTango
