What's the deal with Opera?
    #7121664 - 07/02/07 09:53 PM (16 years, 8 months ago)

I've experienced more bugs (pages loading incorrectly; browser crashing) with Opera than any other browser.

As of today the buttons for the post entry box aren't functioning in Opera.

They work fine for me. Myabe you should try to format your pc, and reinstall everything again, Opera doesnt gives any problems so far.

The issue was that I had a certain setting enabled (Mask as IE) by accident. Bur yeah Opera's still the mos unreliable browser I've ever used. But I love it some areas, for example: have you noticed that no browser scrolls nearly as smoothly as Opera? That's probably the reason it's still my number 1.

I still prefered it over IE and Firefox.

The scrolling part depends on your video card and ram, I change video card and added ram, I dont get scrolling lag or anything like I did with my set up before.

I've never heard of another browser having an entire forum devoted to compatibility issues with websites :smirk:

Check out this website in Opera, and then compare it to another browser: http://www.fitnyc.edu/

That site works in every browser but opera; I think that says something.

Now, every time I browse The Shroomery with Opera I can't stay logged in. I get logged out after navigating to almost any page.
