You may want to check out my recent posts in the Advanced cultivation forum, I posted teks on not only how to shred straw efficiently, but also how to pastuerize it and achieve proper moisture content, using common household items.

Shroomgod's straw tek has worked with me every time. I have had great success with it, try it out.
