from what i have read and heard you need to give them more air exchanges.too much co2 results in very small specimens. the more fresh air the better

What strain are you using? Some strains just produce small (but potent) fruits.

I used a pf syringe. The caps are a dark brown. Some tend to spilt in the center. Too much humidity?, /?//?
