would this work
    #722099 - 07/04/02 07:19 AM (22 years, 10 months ago)

if i would use composted mulch, gypsum, and finch seed. Mix it to the right proportions then added some brown surgar water. Steralize the jars. Let cool over night. Would this work? Then i have a cake that is on perlite w/ a air pump running under the perlite (works very well) its doing ok but can i (doing all of this extremly clean) cut i chunk or crumble up the cake and put some in the new jars w/ the ingrediants from above.

or should i just wait to get a spore print????????? What do u think ?????

thanks for your help

ah now I understand you.
yes, if you could transfer chunks of your colonised cake into the above mixture, assuming complete sterility, then yes it would (COULD) work.
More likely, you would get however many jars of various contams.
A better bet would be to use your colonised cake to spawn straw/manure.
Alternatively.......just wait to get a spore print.
