i dont agree with those that opine their remorse for the two other fatalities in a sad circumstance, without feeling sorry for this Mike dude. sometimes its just the way it is. im sorry for all untimely losses of life, but mostly for dreamer's buddy, at fault or not. he is the one that i can see in clarity from this thread.
tough breaks, sad shit.

It's not just "the way it is." It is the way this irresponsible, uncaring person with no regard for human life (even his own) acted that made this situation...not "fate" or something like that.
"Tough breaks..." No. It's not just chance...it was a situation formed and created by someone.
While I am sorry for his wife and soon-to-be child, I really have no pity.
I don't feel bad for murderers either. He may as well have loaded a gun and started firing it in random directions.
If you don't care about yourself enough not to drink and drive, at least care about my child that may be out on the road in a car while you are drunk driving, because God help you if you kill my child.
My cousin is a quadriplegic because of his drunk driving. While I feel sorry for his family, I don't really have any pity for him

sure, its an irresponsible and dangerous thing to do, with terrible consequences, like these. i don't contend that.
and this thread is no place for a row so i concede the point.
suffice to say, sorry to hear about it all, especially another death on the shroomery boards, be it friend or member.

Yup.
I feel bad for you, his family, and his girlfriend and child. I feel HORRIBLE for the 2 people the ignorant kid killed, and their families. I feel nothing but disgust for Mike himself. He obviously had plenty of warnings, he knew what the fuck he was doing. It's disgusting that so many people are affected now because of his idiotic actions. It just feeds into the stereotypical teen behavior, just feeds into the alcohol is bad for you arguments.
Absolutely disgusting.

At first i thought i had a good grip on the whole grieving process, but i just Remembered him for the first time since the weeks fallowing his death. Aparently I was subcontiously blocking a lot of stuff out. I realize this now after feeling his presence out in his chair on my moms back porch, and seeing his face, and having his memory flow freely instead of struggling for it, and only getting a hazy cloud. This is a good step. I think everythings gonna be all right. Than again i am still in a bit of a Heroin nod.
