rye grain in tx?

i was just wondering if anyone in texas knew of a place that sold organic rye grain so that i didn't have to order it off the internet. i live in the austin area. any help would be greatly appreciated. peace.....

start calling pet supply store, feeder supplies, call 411, just open up the phone book and start calling places. sometimes it takes a while, but you should be able to find some in big city austin.

in san antonio we've got places like Sun Harvest and Whole Foods. Organic food stores usually carry rye packaged in like 1 to 1-1/2 lb. bags for like $2, but if you're lucky, you'll find a store that carries it in bulk bins for like $0.50/lb.

i live in the san antonio area also...
i get my grain from sun harvest..im sure they have it in austin too

Best place to go is:

Whole Foods Market

They're all over the place and several are spread out in TX. I hope this helps.

the whole foods right off of lamar and 6th in austin has organic rye grain in bulk. i think its around $.25 to $.50 a pound.
