who uses good water for coir, and casing layers?

i find myself filling my 6 5gal water bottles all the damn time. who uses faucet water? if it bad? i would always use purified water for the WBS jars, but for substrate, and casing how important is good water?

i use tap water for everything except liquid cultures

yea i use tap but for lc's i use filtered water.

aight well screw filling up all my 5gal jugs. il use filtered water for LC and wbs only coir, and casing is tap now. thanks a bunch guys caz damn coir takes all my water lol

Yea you can do it with tap but filtered water makes the lc clearer.

I use tap for everything these days. I messed around with distilled in the first weeks of the hobby, and haven't looked back.
Really, the extra minerals in tap are probably better (especially for an LC, which has no other source of minerals) than distilled.

I use tap for everything with the exception of when I don't feel like doing the balancing act all the way to the sink to fill up the cool mist so I just bring the Brita pitcher in there to top it off

I use tap for my WBS. Never have any problems.

Tap Water
But for my misting my FC, I allow my tap water to sit a day inside the fridge to allow some of the chlorine and chemicals to dispel a bit. No one has told me to do this but it can't hurt.
You're supposed to do that to the water for Indoor Plants.
