50/50 or 50/50+

Ive always just used straight verm and have descent results. But now im looking for something new and better. Now my question... Is it worth adding crushed oyster shell and lime to the 50/50 tek or is it fine without it. I was able to find crushed oyster shell, but im having a hell of a time finding hydrated lime. Every place I go only has agricultural lime. Which is basically Oyster shell. It says right on the bag "Oyster Shell Agricultural Lime" Ingredents include Calcium and Calcium carbonate equivalent. I don't know if this is the right stuff to use or not. Any advise would be greatly appriciated.

They will both work. 50/50+ is better PH balanced to mushrooms needs. It will also help fight against cobweb and green molds. Look for "jiffy mix" which is essentially 50/50+ allready mixed when you buy it.
