Few outdoor questions

Ok i have a few outdoor questions.
1. If i collect some cow manure from a field do i have to pastuerize it for an outdoor bed, soak it, or what? (Before laying it as a layer of the bed).
2. What can i expect flush wise (not asking for wieght/yeild) how many flushes, say 3 quart jars, brf/verm, in a 3x3ft cubic area, with the manure/hay setup like moes outdoor tek. Do outdoor beds get spent like indoor casings?
3. also after making your bed outside do fruits take longer than inside casings to fruit?
4. From somewhere on these forums i remember readin something about the mycellium can help decompose dead leaves is this true? If the ground is covered in dead/decomposing leaves would that be better too?
thanks for any help.

No you don't need to pastuerize it.
Flushes will depend on many factors.
Do fruits take longer? Depends on weather conditions and how much attention you pay to it.
Yes you can put leaves under and all in if you like. It won't make much of a difference though. Might as well leave them out. Put them on top later on after its been through a few flushes. They can also help keep humidity on the patty its self. So can a black trash bag that will help it colonize as well.
Good luck.

i mentioned leaves cuz thier everywhere there and decomposing was wondering if the mushrooms would get some extra nutes from that. Is an outdoor bed alot similar to inside growing then. Flushwise?

Yes it is somewhat similar. flushwise. All the same things that make mushrooms flush inside apply to outside.
Yeah the mushies will eat those leaves right up. It is added nutrients! So you will be fine.
Put a patty down, keep it moist and watch the mushrooms grow, as long as temps allow it. Thats the hardest thing about outdoors, changing weather. You aren't in control of that.
Good luck
