Serious Initial Rye Problems

I landed 100% contams on my first batch of 9 jars full of rye grain. I followed RR's video to the T and I still ended up with these contams, Im going to go over the good/bad of what I did and hopefully someone will note where I went wrong.
1: Soaked rye for 40 hours
2: Boiled rye for 10 min and then drained and shook (might have still been just a hair too damp.
3: PC'd for 2 hours and took out and left overnight in a clean area (i did this cause my PC only holds 4 jars.
4: Took tinfoil off in glovebox and there were little drops of water on the tyvek for some reason (might have been source of contam). I need help on how to avoid this :/
5: inoculated, then placed micropore tape (that was rubbed on an alcohol soaked paper towel) on top of the inoculation points.
6; 4 days later, green mold, everywhere D:
Please help in identifying the mistakes i made, i think i already kinda know what they are, but 100% failure rate is liek wtf mate

hmm Could be either the syringe or the tyvek.I always had problems with tyvek would always get contams then i switched to polyfil and dont have any contams you might want to try it.

Did you rinse the grains appropriately to get all the chaff and extra garbage out of them? Shouldn't be a huge issue wrt contams, but it is a necessary step towards ideal colonization.
I only soak for 12-14 hrs, and PC for 90 minutes.
If there was moisture underneath your tinfoil on the tyvek I would be concerned as to how that was incurred.
If I were you due to my limited PC space I would experiment with one jar at a time until I found success, then you can do a G2G with the one jar to 10 fresh ones and you should be able to avoid a lot of the injection site issues... just a thought for the future.

I did rinse it out and i think the moisture under the tinfoil was due to condensation from removing the jars from the PC while hot. but hell, 100% contam, this is blowing my mind, especially when I did 100% success with BRF the time before this D:

Tyvek being wet for a short time won't contaminate your rye. The problem is later on during colonization if mycelium colonizes right through the tyvek.
4 days is about the life cycle of trichoderma, so it sounds like your syringe liquid was contaminated.
The soaking period for rye is to hydrate the grains and also to germinate bacteria. Molds are killed off by temperatures far below boiling, so I wouldn't suspect your sterilization process. RR
