Problem with Fruiting Chamber
    #7196595 - 07/19/07 07:57 AM (17 years, 6 months ago)

Hey I used this Tek to make my fruiting chamber but I get temperatures of up to 105°F. Maybe my digital thermo is too close to the blue lights or I need a lower voltage, any advice?

I just took out one of the lights and at 11 when the lights cut back on (they are on a timer) I am gonna observe the temp at the peak which I think will be at half an hour

Keep in mind that inoculating or whatever in front of a flow hood won't help your bad substrate, your bad inoculant, your bad sterile procedure, etc. etc. etc. It's not a +3 flowhood of magic, it's just a tool.

Oh forgot to add that I don't have the heating pad since I didn't think I would need it since I am stationed in Florida. I took out one of the lights, and I examined the temperature. It is at a stable 85°F now.
