Ammonia smell

A 10lb container of Pan mycelium colonized and cased compost is on its 12th day
since introducing pinning conditions.

No pins yet.
No visual sign of contamination.

There is a very strong ammonia smell though.
Is all lost for this container?

If it is a strong smell then you have bacteria. I don't know which type of bacteria it is most likely with the ammonia smell. I am sure someone here can tell you what it is most likely though.

Is the smell is strong i would suggest NOT smelling/inhailing it or near it!
