h2o2
2 parts hydrogen, 2 parts oxygen

h2o2 = hydrogen peroxide

I nuked recently some horse poo mixed with wheat straw for 10 minutes (max power) in the microwave. It fully colonized perfectly without contams. It didn't have time to fruit yet, though. So i still don't know if it works just like the pillowcase in the pot tek. Give it a try!

Good Luck!

Make sure you don't start a fire in your microwave, I doubt burning horse shit and straw smells very good..

I soak the poo to the target water content and crumble it.
Then put it inot a autoclavable bag (or a pyrex dish with a lid) and microwave it for 8-10 minutes shaking(stirring) occasionally.

Thank for the tip Anno. Opening the microwave to shake it won't cause any problems? just wondering becuse i know some things don;t liek that much IE. popcorn if you open it half ay and then trow it back it you end up with some burnt and the rest not popped.

Also what kind of a smell is involved with this? this may be jsut the thing i needed if it is not tobad, since the wife won't let me do this in the house. But i can easily bring the microwave to the basement or such.

Thank you again
