Are these old Beatles LPs worth anything?
    #7192473 - 07/18/07 11:48 AM (16 years, 8 months ago)

I have quite a collection of old vinyl records. I wondered if these Beatles albums were worth anything.

I have a bunch of other records too. Here's the list:

Beatles- Abbey Road
Beatles- Revolver
Beatles- White album
Beatles- Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band
Beatles- Help!
Beatles- '65
Beatles- Yesterday and Today
James Brown- Prisoner of Love
James Brown- Live at the Apollo Theatre
Ray Charles- Live in Concert (at the Shrine auditorium)
Elton John- Tumbleweed Connection
Elton John- Honky Chateau
Miles Davis- Jazz Track
Miles Davis- "Four" & more live in concert
Woody Guthrie- Bed on the Floor
Harry Belafonte- Calypso
Crosby, Stills and Nash- Deja vu

I'm not necessarily looking to get rid of all these, I just wondered if theres any resale value?

It depends on their age and pressing...

An original Beatles "Dead Baby" album cover (1st pressing for Sears and Robucks) can be worth thousands. It all depends on how old your albums are...

I can't tell you. Maybe do a little research on ebay, but looking up Beatles albums sorting by price and paying attention to the markings/publishing-codes on the real expensive ones....

Thanks for the tip. I know that they are pretty old, purchased in the 60's or 70's. But now I'm gonna try and find some dates.

I'm sure some of those are worth money to someone out there, especially if they're in good condition.

Amazing collection there, by the way.

Not a scratch. Hey I found some cool inserts in Sgt. Peppers too. A small booklet and a page of Sgt. Peppers Cutouts:
1. moustache
2. Picture Card
3.Stripes
4. Badges
5.Stand up

Neat!
