I'm Happy to be on board! I am a member of several forums, Motorcycle, Cars you name it. I must admit though that this seems to be one of the best looking forums I've ever seen!
When I first started trolling my intentions were to simply seek out information on Psilocybe mushrooms, but since then I've really enjoyed going out in the woods and taking pictures of various species. I live on a ranch roughly 5500 acres in south east Alabama. It is truly amazing all the differnt types of beautiful mushrooms I've come across.
With that said....I was wondering if there was any way you guys could help me out with an ID.
Here are two types.
Habitat- Wooded area near swomp and cow field
Gills- Purple ish
Stem- White with dark skirt
Cap- White with yellowish tint
Bruising...Dunno lol
Location..Southeast Alabama

Habitat- Open cow field
Gills- Vibrant purple
Stem- White with white skirt
Cap- White
Brusing..NONE
Location...Alabama

Thanks Random...Number 2 is all over the place around here. It has a purble hugh around the outter edge of the cap.
I'm gonna go out hunting again this afternoon, and afterwards I'll try my first print.
As for number 1. Well as you can probably tell from the picture it was handled farely harshly...Shouldn't it appear bruised in the picture??

i jus dont see brusing so I'm not gonna give u 100 % that thats a cube ...
but indeed you kno where to find them at now..jest keep checking that spot every so often and it'll help if you take the camera with u to the field..and get habitat pictures..
I'm so wantin to say its a cube thats why u need to pinch that stem some more then take another picture an hour later and post it... good luck,

The first two species you posted are Agaricus. Maybe edible, depending on the species.
Info here: http://www.mushroomexpert.com/agaricus.html
Number three is probably an Amanita. Beautiful mushroom, I have never seen one like it before. It would be interesting to see the base of the stem. Number four is a red russula. Taste a little, see if it burns your mouth. Number 5 is an Inocybe. Number 6 is hard to say much about without a look at the gills. Number 7 is a Panaeolus antillarum.
Some of the above mushrooms won't kill you, but some will, and none of them are psychoactive.
Cool pictures.

Alan...Just making sure you didn't overlook something. Are you saying the top picture isn't a cube? Thank you very much for the props on the photos. Glad you enjoyed them. I'll get some more pics of the base for ya this afternoon
Random..Thanks again for the help. I'll see about getting some fresh ones in a day or two.

One more thing...Are there any good links depicting what proper bruising should look like on a cube?

#6 looks to me like it's probably a bolete of some sort. We'd need to see the underside of the cap.
All the rest Alan Rockefeller got to, and I agree with all of them.
Happy mushrooming!

Yes. The top picture is an Agaricus species. I can't tell if it is edible or poisonous just by looking at it.
It looks a lot like a cube, but the spores are too brown. Also there would be some noticeable blue bruising if it was a cube, given how torn up it is.
The gills can be seen breaking away cleanly from the stalk, leaving no trace of the gills on the stalk. A clear sign of Agaricus.
