pf cake in a flower pot?

would this work? walk in closet with a hepafilter. pf cakes in flower pots with potting soil. no terrarium. the cake would be surrounded by soil with a thin layer on top and thick soil on the sides and bottom. water the soil daily.

Sounds like it could work. The only thing to worry about would be contams, and they'd be hard to spot when the cake is buried.

On the other hand, why not just make a small terrarium out of a milk carton or something? Throw some wet perlite in the bottom, mist and fan daily...

That pot was tiny 1.5 inches in diameter. But it was grown in a traditional Fruiting Chamber. I think it would be easier if you converted a milk jug or 2 liter bottle to fruit a cake, if you are only doing one.
