75% colonization in five days...

So, five days ago (July 12th) I started a new batch (8 total) of 1/2 pint BRF cakes. I followed RR's and Roadkill's tek to the "T" as always...
I inoculated my jars with a nice thick Golden Teacher LC I had started the previous week. Today, I opened up my incubator, expecting to see the first signs of growth, and was shocked to see that every jar is between 75 and 90% colonized. Three of the jars are lacking a nickel sized area to be fully colonized. My first thought was contamination, but it looks like good healthy, very rizomorphic mycelium.
I used about 2.5 cc of the LC for each jar, and they are incubating at a steady 78 degrees.
Is this really possible? I have never seen growth at this rate. Usually at this point there are nice patches around the inoculation points, but not almost full colonization.
Sorry, no pictures. I don't have a good enough camera that would show you anything that would help.

LC is the bomb! Could you link to the TEKS? I'm having great sucess with LC after a 10 year layoff but I'd like more info.

For me the world is weird because it is stupendous, awesome, mysterious, unfathomable;my interest has been to convince you that you must assume responsibility for being here, in this marvelous world,in this marvelous desert,in this marvelous time. I wanted to convince you that you must learn to make every act count, since you are going to be here for only a short while;in fact, too short for witnessing all the marvels of it.

5 days is a bit to fast, I would watch for green or other funkie colors.. I once had a jar super fast I was like YAY!, then it turned green on me

Sounds great. Remember to let the jars sit for a few days after you think they are 100% to let the inside core of the cake colonize.
Liquid Cultures go WAY faster than multispore syringes.
